Ex-Liverpool player, Michael Owen has come out to say that he believes it will be dangerous for Xabi Alonso to swap Bayer Leverkusen for Liverpool. He recently revealed that Bayern Munich would be a less risky move, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, there are definitely both pros and cons for both clubs, but Bayern Munich would be the safer option because they are pretty much guaranteed winning the league every season.

Owen added that Liverpool is a dangerous move for Alonso since replacing Klopp will surely be difficult.
His words, “It’s a big dilemma for Xabi Alonso. Real Madrid is another possibility in the future but it looks like unless he stays at Leverkusen then it’s a straight fight between Liverpool and Bayern and you can see the pros and cons for both. He’s not been a manager long so I think the safer option is going to Bayern Munich.
